medals to unlock then buy them??

Does anyone agree that it costs so much to unlock the medal items (350 - 1300 medals to unlock items) and then have to turn around to spend 1500+ in coins to use them? seems a bit steep. It would literally take a basic player years of non-stop playing without spending money to get these. I'd like some opinions on this one from other players.

I totally agree. I wasnt happy when i turned in my medals and seen i had to pay gold too!

After long period of times playing to get medals for good items to unlock (9% damage, speed and armor) then after you have to buy it in gold which is only 1% difference from normal alloy (8%) that’s sounds expensive. I think need a little adjustment here. No offence to SS admin.

Honestly, there is no reason to waste medals on the expensive medal items and coins on them to just have a different color. it would be nice if the higher up items also gave specials, like an area of effect heal or defense, possibly invulnerability for 5 seconds then 5-10 minute cooldown for the highest items. this could also play into the crew members as well. This would greatly make it work having the higher items for PVP since they are based on getting medals anyway. maybe a radar effect for the speed for the same side. lots of possibilities.
