Sound Engine Changes & Improvements
- Cached sound behavior will now use the distance to the listener position to determine which sound should be stopped or not played at all. This means that the game is now handling sound playback more efficiently.
- Declines sounds to be played that are not in hearing range, improving overall sound fidelity without reaching the limit of simultaneously played sounds too quickly.
- Improved client stabillity on zone/map changes.
- Improved response speed for UI and access times of previously loaded resources. The actual increase in responsiveness varies depending on game code implementation (not all parts of the UI may benefit in the same way).
- Fixed an issue that could cause players to enter a "login loop" after creating a new avatar (it sometimes took several clicks on the login button in a row to enter the game).
- Several smaller backend improvements and fixes.
